What do you do at &us?
I partner with clients (and our amazing &us team) who are passionate about transforming their organisations. I support them to engage their leadership and keep them focussed on the bigger picture – helping them spread stories when change is going well and maintain perspective and optimism if the going gets tough.
What do you care about most in your work?
I love seeing people get excited about the potential of their organisation – and experiencing the energy and dynamism that comes with the belief in a better way of doing things. I get huge satisfaction from creating real commercial value for our clients and improving their working lives.
What did you do prior to &us?
I started my career at Sky, launching ‘Video On Demand’ channels (the height of innovation back in 2004). I went on to do some innovation consulting for a wide range of FTSE 100 companies. Most recently I led innovation at Cancer Research UK and Save the Children.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
I love reading and cooking (although I haven’t done an awful lot of either since my baby was born). My idea of heaven is a weekend hanging out with friends or family with country walks, pub lunches and late-night chats fuelled by lots of wine.
Talk to me about…
Winston Churchill, JFK or Marie Antoinette. I am endlessly fascinated by history and its cast of characters – I always have an obscure biography on the go.
