What do you do at &us?
I empathise with users, analyse user data and design really cool and meaningful stuff. No day at &us is the same, somedays I’ll be working on internal branding and designs, and some days I’ll be working full time on client work.
What do you care about most in your work?
I love the challenge of navigating the start of a project, normally it’s quite a daunting part, but project kick-offs can be the most fulfilling when you and your colleagues are on the same page and have an awesome plan. For the most part, you know it’ll be a good project!
What did you do prior to &us?
I worked as a product designer at a company that makes concrete basins. What’s interesting is that throughout my time there, I helped out developing their website, which in turn introduced me to the world of UX. I then started my journey by completing a diploma in UX and landing an internship at &us!
What do you do for fun outside of work?
I like to get out and explore, that’s within the city, but also in the great outdoors. I love a good hike. Aside from that, my hobbies include playing guitar and film photography at the moment. To me, the thing about film photography is entirely the process, taking the photo, and waiting to fill up the roll before you can see them. You almost always forget what photos you’ve taken, which I love.
