What do you do at &us?
General meddling: I look after the inner workings of &us, from delivery to resourcing, HR, legal and finance. I’m here to ensure things run in an efficient and human-friendly way for our team, our clients and anyone else we engage with.
What do you care about most in your work?
Actually delivering stuff, not just talking about it. Pragmatism. And maximising the fun and mischief along the way.
What did you do prior to &us?
Blimey, how long have you got? I’ve trod a zigzag path from an early career in marketing in the music industry and TV, tried to do some good in the third sector, and helped scale a software development start-up from 15 to 150 people.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
I’m trying to learn how to grow things in my little courtyard garden. I also spend a lot of time walking by the sea with good music on, and love great food and even better wine.
